A Hampton woman’s cherished Sunday ritual has delivered her a dizzying Keno win worth more than $100,000.
The City of Bayside resident scored the Keno Classic 8 Spot jackpot in draw 300, drawn Sunday 8 June 2025. She looks forward to a dreamy $108,595.50.
When an official from Keno confirmed the good news, the stunned woman shared how she spent the entire night unable to sleep and wide awake.
“I’m so excited!” she cheered.
“I couldn’t sleep at all last night. I had to get up halfway through the night and have a bath.
“I still don’t think it has sunk in. You just don’t think it will ever happen.
“Every Sunday, I have a ritual of putting $20 on Keno, never with the expectation of winning.
“Yesterday, once I bought my ticket, I went out for coffee with a friend.
“It wasn’t until I got home later in the day that I checked my ticket and the penny dropped.
“It is unreal.”
With more than $100,000 soon to boost her bank account, the elated winner shared it still felt like a dream.
“It still doesn’t feel real!” she exclaimed.
“The win has come at the most incredible time.
“Half of the prize will go towards home renovations and the other half will go straight into my savings.”
