A Thornlands man is gearing up for house hunting adventures after unlocking the door to home ownership by landing an exciting $70,000 win in a recent Keno draw.
The Redland City resident scored the Keno Classic 8 Spot winning entry in draw 806, drawn Saturday 23 May 2026. He looks forward to a total prize of $70,824.60.
“I can’t believe it,” he laughed when an official from Keno relayed his prize amount.
“It’s the most I’ve ever won in my life! I won the 7 Spot once but that was $14,000. This is next level.
“The prize will come in handy. I think I’ll put it towards a house deposit!
“Celebrations were quite lowkey with some celebratory beers; I’m trying to wrap my head around it all.
“Thank you so much. I’ll have to let the news sink in!”
His winning entry was purchased at Redlands Sporting Club, 20 Anson Road, Wellington Point.
