Five mates from Dalby have turned a casual Sunday night at the club into a memorable celebration after sharing a $50,000 Keno win.
The Western Downs residents scored the Keno Classic 8 Spot jackpot in Keno draw 69, drawn on Sunday 3 May 2026. They bagged a total prize of $50,710.50.
One of the winning friends spoke to an official from Keno earlier this morning, relaying how the exciting group windfall came to be.
“It’s awesome news!” he exclaimed.
“Midnight was probably not the best time to win the jackpot, especially when we were supposed to be going to bed!
“The five of us were out at the club enjoying the long weekend and we decided to put a game of Keno on. They were all random numbers.
“We never expected to score the jackpot! Everyone was fairly excited when it happened.
“It certainly enhanced the night’s celebrations, that’s for sure!
“I personally don’t know what I’ll do with my share of the prize, but I’ll just try to enjoy the win for now!
“Thank you!”
Their winning Keno Classic entry was purchased at Dalby Golf Club, Moreton Street, Dalby.
