A Wallsend man is set to share the love generously admitting he’ll use most of his $230,000 Keno win to help others.

The New South Wales resident scored the Keno Classic 9 Spot jackpot in Keno draw 624, drawn Thursday 18 June 2026. He looks forward to a total prize of $230,680.10.

The winning man initially left the venue before checking his ticket and it wasn’t until the next day he realised his newfound treasure.

“How lucky am I?” he laughed.

“I put it on yesterday but left before the draw. I did see there was a win and I wondered if it could be me, but I thought ‘Surely not’.

“It was quite the shock when I checked my ticket.

“I’ll definitely be celebrating. I only started using these numbers recently too.”

When asked how he planned to use his six-figure sum, the generous man thought of his nearest and dearest first.

“I have quite a large family, so I’ll just be using it to help them,” he said.

“These days you need all the help you can get, so I’m happy to put my prize towards others.”

His winning Keno Classic entry was purchased from West Wallsend Workers Club, 51-53 Carrington Street, West Wallsend.
