A hardworking Parramatta man has celebrated his Keno 8 Spot win by supporting his favourite local charity.

The New South Wales man held a Keno 8 Spot winning entry in game 16 on Sunday 27 January 2019, scoring $55,295.80.

Confirming his win with a Keno official the thrilled winner recounted how he first realised his unexpected windfall.

“We went out for dinner and to the casino last Sunday night, and bam, there it was, my eight numbers, I’d won!” he laughed.

“Probably like anyone, at first you check the ticket and recheck the numbers 50 times to make sure you aren’t seeing things.

“It was such a surprise!”

The man revealed he’d been playing Keno for years and in the past had a few close calls but had never won anything like this.

“I love playing Keno, I often have little wins, I’ve won $1,800 a few times before but this is by far the biggest win I’ve had!” he exclaimed.

“I’ve had a lot of luck!

“It was very exciting, and when I told my wife, she didn’t believe me!

“Woohoo!

“I love playing Keno!

“I’ll use it to pay some bills.

“And I’ll give some to charity, I really like supporting my local RSL club.”

The man, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his winning Keno 8 Spot entry at Star Casino, 80 Pyrmont Street, Pyrmont.
