A Woonona woman has confessed it feels like she's dreaming after unwrapping the ultimate Easter surprise with a $1 million Keno win.
The Wollongong resident scored the Keno Classic 10 Spot jackpot in draw 550, drawn Sunday 5 April 2026 and looks forward to a total prize of $1,084,752.20.
The winning woman was in the middle of her Easter lunch when she saw her numbers being drawn on screen.
“It still feels like a dream,” she said when speaking with an official from Keno.
“It just doesn’t seem real. It’s amazing!
“We were just out for an Easter lunch when it all happened.
“I only ever play the 10 Spot every now and then. It was a special occasion, so I thought why not.
“I like to play special numbers, such as birthdays and anniversaries, as well as some numbers I see come up a lot.
“We were watching the numbers come up right before our eyes. Once I saw six numbers come up, I thought that would be the end of it, but then they kept coming.
“It was a surreal moment.”
With a million-dollar prize on the way, the down-to-earth winner shared she was still wrapping her head around the size of her prize.
“We’re still trying to take it all in. I’m just trying to settle down and stay calm,” she shared.
“We’ll be able to pay off our house, which feels incredible.”
Her winning Keno Classic entry was purchased at Woonona Bulli RSL Club, 455-459 Princes Highway, Woonona.
