A Wollongong man will find this year’s Mother’s Day celebrations hard beat after scoring a $160,000 Keno win while enjoying a family lunch on Sunday.

The New South Wales resident held a Keno Mega Millions 8 Spot winning entry in draw 216, drawn Sunday 14 May 2023, and took home a total prize of $160,850.80.

“I’m so happy,” he cheered when an official from Keno confirmed his bounty late yesterday afternoon.

“I took my wife and kids out for Mother’s Day at the local pub on the weekend.

“I thought I’d put a game of Keno on while we were all having dinner.

“Many people believe in Lotto, but I believe in Keno. It’s my favourite, so I couldn’t pass up the opportunity!

“I decided to check the ticket on my mobile when I had gotten home. I was shocked. I didn’t believe it!

“I had to do a double-take to make sure it was correct.

“It’s a good feeling.”

His winning Keno Mega Millions entry was purchased at Collegians Wollongong, 3A Charlotte Street, Wollongong.

The Collegians Wollongong team was happy to hear that one of their local patron’s Mother’s Day celebrations at their club was boosted with an amazing Keno prize, and wished them all the best.
