Despite an official from Keno confirming his $1.8 million win, a Tweed Heads man is still struggling to come to terms with the fact his million-dollar win isn’t a dream.

The New South Wales North Coast resident held a Keno Classic 10 Spot winning entry in draw 673, drawn Wednesday 12 October 2022, and took home a total prize of $1,862,167.00.

However, the winning ticket was unregistered, which means officials from Keno were unable to reach out to the merry man until he checked his ticket and started the prize claim process.

“I’m gobsmacked,” he laughed.

“I woke up this morning and thought I was still in a dream. I’m still shocked.

“I had no idea that I’d won. I was walking around with this ticket worth $1.8 million in my pocket for days!

“I saw the jackpot prize had gone off in Seagulls Club and I raced to check the ticket - I couldn’t believe it!

“A big shoutout to the team at Seagulls Club. They’re incredible and my favourite local venue!

“I can’t wait to tell my wife the winning news.

“It’s absolutely beautiful!”

The winning New South Welshman revealed his $1.8 million win would go towards helping his nearest and dearest and buying a new family home.

“I’ll look to buy a property in the near future and help my family,” he said.

“It’s really life-changing and I’m so grateful.”

His winning entry was purchased at Seagulls Club, Gollan Drive, Tweed Heads West.

The Seagulls Club team are overjoyed to have sold a million-dollar winning entry to a local man and send their best wishes to him and his family.
