One Stockton player has found a way to beat the Monday blues, by winning a Keno Classic 8 Spot prize last night and entering the working week more than $62,000 richer.

The New South Wales patron held a Keno Classic 8 Spot winning entry in game 23 played on Sunday 9 August 2020 worth $62,907.20.

However, how the punter plans to use their Keno fortune will forever be a mystery as they have chosen to remain completely anonymous and celebrate in private.

The winning Keno Classic 8 Spot winning entry was purchased at Stockton Bowling Club, 122 Mitchell Street, Stockton.

Stockton Bowling Club admin Jodie Odd said the club was in celebration mode after their patron scored a Keno Classic 8 Spot win.

“Isn’t it a fantastic boost, especially during these tough times!” she said.

“We could not be happier for our winner.

“We wish them all the very best and hope they enjoy it.

“It was certainly time for a major prize win.

“Hopefully this the start of a lucky streak and the major wins keep rolling our way!”

Keno spokesperson Ally Ramsamy said she was sure the latest Keno winner was heading into the working week a whole lot chirpier.

“While we may never know exactly how the mystery winner will enjoy their Keno prize, I have no doubt it has put a smile on their dial,” she said.

“In the past, our Keno winners have used their prize to renovate their home, go on family golfing or fishing trips, or book an adrenaline-pumping activity like skydiving.

“However our winner chooses to enjoy their windfall, we are sure they are celebrating winning this fantastic prize!”

Between 1 July 2019 and 30 June 2020, Keno players across the eastern states of mainland Australia celebrated more than 58.4 million wins collectively worth more than $776.79 million.

During this time, Keno crowned 17 millionaires and multi-millionaires who collectively took home more than $38.72 million.  Ten of these major winners were from New South Wales and the ACT, including a Newcastle woman who was stunned to pocket a Keno Mega Millions 10 Spot prize of more than $5.4 million.

Players in New South Wales and the ACT enjoyed more than 26.69 million Keno wins totalling more than $386.39 million in the 12 months to 30 June 2020.
