A Moorebank woman says she’ll be spending the week house hunting after scoring a Keno Classic prize of more than $90,000 over the weekend.

The happy winner held a Keno Classic 8 Spot winning entry in draw 916 drawn Sunday 4 April 2021 and takes home $90,984.70.

Confirming her exciting prize with an official from Keno this morning, the elated woman said she was still celebrating her weekend win.

“I thought I’d give it a go when we were out for lunch!” she laughed.

“I usually only play six numbers but on the weekend I decided to go for eight.

“We weren’t watching the draw and when I saw a little later that someone in the venue had won the 8 Spot I wondered if it could be me!

“When I checked my entry I was so happy. I couldn’t believe it!”

When asked how she thought she might enjoy her prize, the winning woman knew exactly what she was going to do with it.

“I’m going to put it towards a new home,” she explained.

“It will be such a big help!”

The Sydney player, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her winning entry at New Brighton Golf Club, 43 Brickmakers Drive, Moorebank.

New Brighton Golf Club Operations Manager Hannah Holden said the club was thrilled by the win.

“There was such a buzz of excitement in the venue when the win happened,” she explained.

“All our members are so happy for our winner. Congratulations to them and we wish them all the best!

“We certainly hope this is the beginning of plenty more big wins at our venue.”
