A hardworking FIFO worker from Moorabbin has had his dinner served with a side of fortune, after winning more than $91,000 in a Keno draw over the weekend.

The victorious Victorian scored the Keno Classic 8 Spot jackpot in Keno draw 599 on Saturday 25 October 2025. He took home a total prize of $91,022.30.

The excited winner relayed how the jackpot win came about while speaking to an official from Keno.

“It’s fantastic!” he cheered.

“It’s going to be a great help to me.

“I’m a FIFO worker, so I was away for work when it all happened. I was sitting in my room and put on a game, then went to dinner.

“I’d completely forgotten about it until later. I was completely gobsmacked when I finally checked the ticket.

“I’m honestly so glad you’ve confirmed it because I’ve been pinching myself ever since. Now it feels a bit more real.”

While the triumphant man has a few ideas on how to put his prize to good use, he shared he’s choosing to take a thoughtful approach.

“I need a couple of things like a new car but they can wait,” he said.

“I’m not in a rush to spend it at all. I’ll just bank it for now and have a good think about it.”
