Tears of joy have streamed down a Biggera Waters man’s face on his drive to work this morning, as he was still reeling in shock after bagging a staggering $4.4 million Keno prize.

The Gold Coast resident scored the Keno Classic 10 Spot jackpot in draw 333, drawn Sunday 9 November 2025 and looks forward to a total prize of $4,408,359.90.

When speaking to an official from Keno, the winning man shared his multi-million-dollar winning ticket was a spur-of-the-moment decision while out for lunch.

“I cried on the way to work this morning. It’s been an emotional 24 hours to say the least!” he shared.

“My partner and I surprisingly slept like a baby last night.

“I was unsure if I should go to work today, but here I am. So far, it’s been pretty hard to focus, and I’m feeling a lot spacier than normal.

“It’s crazy because I’m not even a regular Keno player. Whenever I play, it’s more or less a spur-of-the-moment kind of thing.

“When I was out for lunch on Sunday, I decided to play a game. I would usually only play a 7 Spot ticket, but something pushed me to play the 10 Spot.

“While we were in the middle of eating, we noticed the jackpot had gone off in the club. Murmurs were going around with everyone wondering if it was them.

“We never thought it would be our ticket. When the penny dropped that it was us, the adrenaline just started pumping through my body.”

With a staggering $4.4 million set to boost his bank account, the hard-working man shared the win was going to transform his life.

“It’s absolutely life-changing for us!” he said.

“It’s going to set us up for the rest of our lives. We’ll finally be able to buy a house and buy it outright, too.

“We’ve been wanting to buy a house, but it always felt out of reach.

“It feels like a weight lifted off our shoulders, and that we can just enjoy life now.”

His winning Keno Classic entry was purchased at Dublin Docks, Harbourtown Shopping Centre, Harbour Town Dr, Biggera Waters.

Dublin Docks venue manager Tim Hunter shared the entire venue was buzzing with excitement when the multi-million-dollar jackpot went off.

“God, it’s been a pretty exciting time! Everyone was cheering when the jackpot went off,” he said.

“I think all the patrons were hoping it was them but were equally happy for the winning couple.

“We’ve sold a few major prize-winning entries over the years, but this one takes the cake. It’s by far the biggest entry we’ve ever sold.

“On behalf of the entire team, congratulations and all the best to the lucky couple.”

In FY25, Keno players across the eastern states of mainland Australia celebrated more than 76 million wins collectively worth more than $1.2 billion.

During this time, Keno crowned 20 millionaires and multi-millionaires who collectively took home more than $57.9 million. Four of these major winners were Queenslanders, including a Townsville man who scored $4.4 million.

Queenslanders enjoyed more than 27.3 million Keno wins totalling more than $450.7 million at pubs and clubs across the state in FY25.
