A Warwick man hasn’t stopped grinning like a Cheshire cat after his regular Keno numbers snagged him a $68,000 Keno windfall.

The Southern Downs resident scored the Keno Classic 8 Spot jackpot in Keno draw 354 on Friday 17 October 2025. He pocketed a dazzling $68,378.40.

“I’m pretty good today!” he laughed when speaking to an official from Keno.

“I haven’t stopped smiling.

“It’s great news for me. It’ll certainly come in handy.

“I’ve already thought about it and I’m going to put it away in a fixed deposit and keep it for retirement.

“I always use the same Keno numbers so when I saw them all come up, I was over the moon.

“Thank you so much!”

His winning Keno Classic entry was purchased from Criterion Hotel, 84 Palmerin St, Warwick.

The Criterion Hotel team said they were thrilled for their winning patron and wished him all the best with his prize.

In FY25, Keno players across the eastern states of mainland Australia celebrated more than 76 million wins collectively worth more than $1.2 billion.

During this time, Keno crowned 20 millionaires and multi-millionaires who collectively took home more than $57.9 million. Four of these major winners were Queenslanders, including a Townsville man who scored $4.4 million.

Queenslanders enjoyed more than 27.3 million Keno wins totalling more than $450.7 million at pubs and clubs across the state in FY25.
