Confirming his prize with an official from Keno this morning, the excited winner explained how he prize came to be.

“It was fantastic!” he laughed.

“My wife and I were driving around the region on holidays and we thought we’d take a break from driving and stop and have some lunch.

“I always play the same numbers for Keno and I thought I may as well put them on while I wait for lunch.

“As soon as we saw that someone at the club had won the 9 Spot prize, we had a feeling it was us!

“When I checked my ticket, I couldn’t stop shaking and my wife was so excited.
