A Glenorchy woman has confessed she’s looking forward to relaxing and travelling across the world after bagging more than $3.1 million in a recent Keno draw.

The Tasmanian held a Keno Classic 10 Spot winning entry in draw 413, drawn Monday 20 September 2023, and scored $3,174,738.30.

“This is unbelievable!” she exclaimed when an official from Keno called to confirm the win.

“I woke up yesterday morning and couldn’t get back to sleep so I thought I’d play a game of Keno and throw a few random numbers together.

“The thing is, I just rolled over and went back to sleep afterwards!

“That’s why I’m completely shocked. I hadn’t even checked the entry before you called, and now I’ve won $3 million!

“This is going to change my entire life. Things haven’t been easy lately and the cost of living is just rising and rising.

“I’m going to be able to step back for a little while and do what I want to do. It’s going to be very relaxing that’s for sure.

“I’d like to do some travelling, share it with some family and friends who have supported me and could use a helping hand, and put the rest away for the future.

“I can thank my guardian angel for this one because they were the most random numbers I could think of!

“Thank you, it means so much to me.”

The woman’s winning Keno entry was purchased on the Keno – Let’s Play app.

In FY23, Keno players across the eastern states of mainland Australia celebrated more than 95.42 million wins collectively worth more than $1.34 billion.
