A Bundaberg woman who only a few weeks ago bagged a Keno 7 Spot win has capped off her winning month by taking home an additional $51,000 win in a recent Keno draw.
The Queensland resident scored the Keno Classic 8 Spot jackpot in draw 232, drawn Monday 18 September 2023 and took home $51,464.20.
“I’ll tell you what, this win only happened because the stars aligned, and fate had my back!” the winning woman exclaimed when an official from Keno called to confirm her windfall.
“I’d had a shocking day and dropped into the pub to wind down with a few friends, but everything just went right.
“I struggled to park my car, which took me a few minutes, then I walked into the pub and said hello to the team members before I put my Keno numbers on.
“There wasn’t even a moment to sit down because I turned around and watched my numbers appear one by one! It was the first game on my ticket!
“My legs immediately went to jelly, someone got me a chair, and I just sat down in a daze.
“I thought, ‘I only won a few weeks ago, this can’t be happening again!’
“It’s fate!
“I can’t wait to spoil my children, that is one of my greatest joys in life.
“I’ll also put some away for the future and I’m considering buying a new car for myself. Why not right?
“Thanks so much for the call. This has made my day.”
The winning woman’s Keno Classic 8 Spot entry was purchased at Sugarland Tavern, 52 Johnson Street, Bundaberg.
The Sugarland Tavern team said they were over the moon for their winning customer and wished them all the best for the future.
In FY23, Keno players across the eastern states of mainland Australia celebrated more than 95.42 million wins collectively worth more than $1.34 billion.
