A generous Wollongong man says he wants to use his Keno Classic prize of almost $200,000 to give back to the community.

The New South Wales player held a Keno Classic 8 Spot winning entry in game 102 on Friday 27 November 2020 and scored $190,123.70.

Confirming his win with an official from Keno this morning, the elated man said he was still on cloud nine.

“Thank you!” he exclaimed.

“It was very exciting.

“I was at the club with a couple of friends and I just couldn’t believe it.

“It was a very special moment and such a lovely surprise!

“It was something I will never forget, that’s for sure.”

When asked how he planned to enjoy his windfall, the generous winner said he’d be sharing it around.

“I really want to use it to help people and give back to the community,” he explained.

“I’m going to give it to some charities, ones that I am really passionate about.”

The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his winning entry at Berkeley Sports Club, 5 Wilkinson Street, Berkeley.

Berkeley Sports Club supervisor Emily Vudmaska said she was thrilled for her winner.

“The club was buzzing with excitement when we realised this prize had gone to someone in the venue,” she said.

“We were so shocked but very excited for our winner.

“A huge congratulations to him! We hope he really enjoys his prize.”
