A Geelong man has clocked off work in the best way imaginable, with his stop at the local club turning into an added bonus when his Keno ticket scored him more than $92,000.

The Victorian player bagged the Keno Classic 8 Spot jackpot in Keno draw 506, drawn Friday 19 September 2025. He looks forward to a total prize of $92,193.70.

The winning man was still reeling with excitement when an official from Keno spoke to him days after his win.

“It still hasn’t sunk in yet,” he said.

“I’ve had a few wins in Keno over the years, but this well and truly takes the cake.

“To me it was just another afternoon out after work, but then things took an extraordinary turn when I saw my numbers come up.

“I always play random numbers, but I think these might be my new favourites.

“The timing honestly couldn’t be better. I’m in need of a new car and I can sort that out now.”

His winning Keno Classic entry was purchased at St George Workers Club Keno, 212 Pakington Street, Geelong West.

In FY25, Keno players across the eastern states of mainland Australia celebrated more than 76 million wins collectively worth more than $1.2 billion.

During this time, Keno crowned 20 millionaires and multi-millionaires who collectively took home more than $57.9 million. Two of these major winners were from Victoria, including a Melton man who pocketed more than $2 million.

Victorians enjoyed more than 9.9 million Keno wins totalling more than $131.9 million across the state in FY25.

About Keno

Keno is a fun game played at about 3,500 pubs and clubs across Queensland, New South Wales, the ACT and Victoria.

A Keno draw occurs approximately every three minutes. During each draw, 20 numbers are drawn from 1 to 80. Players simply match the numbers on their entry to the numbers drawn for a chance to win over $1 million.

There are a range of Keno games to play, including Keno Mega Millions – a higher jackpot version of Keno Classic that uses the same Keno ball draw but gives players the chance to win $5 million or more.
