Tweed Heads’ newest millionaire might be completely unaware they won $1.8 million in Keno yesterday, with officials urging players in the area to check their tickets to see if they’re the mystery winner they’re looking for.

The mystery New South Wales North Coast player held a Keno Classic 10 spot winning entry in draw 673, drawn Wednesday 12 October 2022 and took home a total prize of $1,862,167.00.

However, the player has yet to check their winning ticket and start the prize claim process.

The winning Keno Classic 10 Spot entry was purchased at Seagulls Club, Gollan Drive, Tweed Heads West.

The Seagulls Club team are over the moon to have sold a million dollar winning entry at their club and hopes the winner comes forward soon.

Keno spokesperson Anna Hobdell said she encouraged all players who purchased a Keno entry at Seagulls Club to check their tickets as soon as possible.

“Someone could be walking around with a winning ticket worth more than $1.8 million in their back pocket or handbag without even knowing they’ve won,” she said.

“We’re urging all players who purchased a Keno entry at Seagulls Club to check their tickets today – you could be holding a winning entry!

“Imagine discovering you’re the winner we’re searching for. Think of all the exciting things you could do with an extra $1.8 million in the bank account.

“Past winners have used their prizes to purchase cars, renovate their homes, or go on trips around Australia.

“If you discover you’re holding the winning Keno Classic 10 Spot ticket, hold on tight to it and head into your closest venue as soon as possible so that we can start the prize claim process.”

In FY22, Keno players across the eastern states of mainland Australia celebrated more than 62.2 million wins collectively worth more than $896.7 million.
