A Bulli man has started the week contemplating how he’ll enjoy life as a multi-millionaire after winning a Keno Classic 10 Spot prize of more than $2 million.

The New South Wales player held a Keno Classic 10 Spot winning entry in game 52 played on Sunday 19 July 2020 and takes home $2,071,582.40.

Confirming his win with an official from Keno this morning, the regular player explained decades of playing the same numbers had paid off.

“Thank you very much,” he laughed.

“Thank you. Thank you.

“It feels good!

“After twenty years of playing the same numbers, a 10 Spot win has finally rolled in.

“I was watching the draw when it all happened. I saw the numbers come out, I realised I had six, then seven, then eight and when I counted them, I had 10.

“It was unbelievable! It’s very exciting.”

When asked how he planned to enjoy his multi-million dollar windfall, the family man said he’d need some time to think.

“I think to begin with I will be paying off the mortgage,” he said.

“And I will certainly be spoiling the kids and my wife.

“Then the rest, I will just have to wait and see. It will be great!”

The multi-million dollar winning Keno Classic 10 Spot entry was purchased at Bulli Workers Club, 313-317 Princes Highway, Bulli.

Bulli Workers Club spokesperson Sandra Tait said they were celebrating having one of their patrons score a major Keno prize.

“Seeing one of our patrons win big with Keno is always fantastic and generates such a positive atmosphere in our venue that everyone feels like they’ve shared in the win too,” she said.

“As you can imagine, Keno wins like this become a talking point here for a long time to come.

“Our venue is no stranger to Keno wins, but we’re always excited to see another one come our way.

“We wish our winner the very best with their prize!”

In the 12 months to 30 June 2019, Keno players across the eastern states of mainland Australia celebrated more than 64 million wins collectively worth more than $853 million.

During this time, Keno crowned 17 millionaires and multi-millionaires who collectively took home more than $47.2 million.  Nine of these major winners were from New South Wales and the ACT, including a Newcastle man who pocketed the biggest Keno jackpot in Australian history - a Keno Mega Millions 10 Spot prize worth $7,898,799.30.

Players in New South Wales and the ACT enjoyed more than 34.19 million Keno wins totalling more than $472.51 million at pubs and clubs across the region in the 12 months to 30 June 2019.

Keno players can also enter into the monthly second chance draw for the chance to win $10,000 by scanning their ticket at win.secondchance.keno.com.au.
