A hardworking Canungra mum who today discovered she won a Keno 8 Spot prize says she can’t wait to celebrate her win by going to bed early tonight.

The Queensland player held a Keno 8 Spot winning entry in game 285 on Monday 19 August 2019 that scored a total prize of $59,450.70.

Confirming her win with a Keno official this morning, the Canungra woman recalled how she discovered her win.

“I haven’t really been able to process it,” she explained.

“It feels surreal!

“I just dropped in for a bite to eat and that’s when they told me.

“I screamed ‘yahoo!’.

“It is insane! It’s very exciting.”

When asked how she planned to enjoy her prize, the excited mum said she had plenty of plans.

“I am going to pay off my bills and I might buy myself a new car,” she shared

“I also want to donate some more money to my favourite charity. I am really excited to do that because it means a lot to me.”

The happy woman said she was going to celebrate tonight by going to bed early.

“Honestly I am such a busy person. All I want to do to celebrate is get in to bed and have an early night,” she laughed.

The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her winning Keno entry at Canungra Hotel, 18 Kidston Street, Canungra.

Canungra Hotel venue manager Simon Walsh said he was ecstatic his hotel had sold another winning entry.

“I only discovered the news the morning after the win. I didn’t know we had sold an 8 Spot win on Monday night. It’s great news,” he said.

“We did sell a 7 Spot the other week and now an 8 Spot. We’ve sold a few winning entries over the years so it’s great to have another one.

“We haven’t sold a 10 Spot yet but surely it shouldn’t be too far away.

“It’s great to hear this win has gone to a good local customer.”
