When a Canberra woman discovered she’d won more than $122,000 in Keno, she squealed so loudly she thought her neighbours might worry.
The ACT resident held a Keno Mega Millions 8 Spot winning entry in draw 368, drawn Wednesday 16 February 2022. Her total prize was $122,699.70.
This afternoon, an official from Keno reached out to the winner, who admitted she was still recovering from her surprising win.
“I’m very good thanks to this prize!” she giggled.
“I’m a bit of a regular player and I really love playing Keno online. I’ve always wanted to win a big prize, but never really thought it would happen to me. It’s a bit strange!
“I wasn’t watching the draw because I was actually working in my office. I’ve always thought about how cool it would be to watch the draw and see your numbers come up.
“I didn’t see my numbers come up but logging back into my account and seeing that win was awesome! It was a wow moment for sure.
“I squealed pretty loud when I saw I’d won the prize. I’m sure some of the neighbours heard me and were wondering what was going on.
“It’s really wonderful. It’ll certainly come in handy. I’m going to use the prize to buy myself a new car and I’ll save the rest for a rainy day.
“I didn’t celebrate last night, but tonight I’m planning on going out for some dinner and drinks.”
The Keno Mega Millions winning entry was purchased on the Keno app.
