It is a winning time for an Oatley man who plans to treat himself to a new watch after today discovering he won a Keno 8 Spot Prize worth over $79,000.
The New South Wales man held a Keno 8 Spot winning entry in game 415 on Monday 27 May 2019, serving him a $79,314.60 windfall.
When a Keno official confirmed his win this afternoon, the regular player admitted he is feeling ‘pretty lucky now’.
“Gosh, it’s great,” he laughed.
“I got lucky. I am feeling very lucky now!
“I am a regular player but this is the most I have ever won.
“I didn’t find out I won until I put my ticket on today and checked the old one.
“It hit me pretty hard. It was very surprising, very nice!
“I am feeling good. It is fantastic!”
When asked how he planned to spend his Keno fun money, the stoked bloke said it was time to splash out and buy a new watch.
“First thing I will do is pay off some bills,” he declared.
“I do need a new watch too, so I might buy a nice and fancy one!
“I will probably go out for dinner tonight to celebrate too.”
The man, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his winning Keno 8 Spot entry at Oatley RSL Club, 23 Letitia Street, Oatley.
Oatley RSL Club duty manager Tom Morgan said it was exciting to hear a local customer had won over $79,000.
“Our winner is a regular customer and he is lovely,” he said.
“He is a very deserving customer.
“It was very exciting and there was a great vibe in the club when we found out.
“We are still very happy and excited about it! This is the biggest win we have had at the club!
“Hopefully another one of our customers wins a big prize soon!”
In 2018, Keno crowned 16 millionaires and multi-millionaires who collectively took home more than $36.47 million.Ten of these major winners were from New South Wales and the ACT.
