A Newcastle man received an incredible surprise when he checked his Keno entry at home and realised he’d won $64,000.
The winning Central Coast man held a Keno Classic 8 Spot winning entry in draw 69, drawn Thursday 9 June 2022. His total prize was $64,258.70.
Speaking with an official from Keno today, the man shared he didn’t think he’d ever win again, having won big twice before and all in the last 18 months.
“This is the third time I’ve won with a Classic 8 Spot entry, it’s unreal!” he exclaimed.
“I never thought I’d win again.
“I purchased the ticket but then I went home and almost forgot about it until later that night.
“When I scanned it and saw that I’d won I couldn’t believe it.
“There’s a special way I go about choosing my numbers and while I won’t be sharing my strategy, I might have to keep using it!
“It’s going to be such a huge help. I was hoping to retire at the end of 2022 but this win will allow me to retire earlier and start enjoying my life.
“It’s incredible!”
His winning entry was purchased at Souths Merewether, 46 Llewellyn Street, Merewether.
