A hardworking Walloon man has revealed how he popped into his local pub to relax after work and walked away with a $156,000 Keno win.

The Queensland player held a Keno Classic 9 Spot winning entry in draw 7, drawn Thursday 12 August 2021 and takes home $156,201.80.

Speaking with an official from Keno this morning, the Ipswich man said he was happily surprised by his major Keno win.

“I had just dropped into the pub after work for a drink and quick bite to eat when I decided to play some Keno,” he explained.

“I didn’t stay and watch the draw, so it wasn’t until the next day that I found out I won.

“Oh yeah, I was pretty excited when I saw I’d won the 9 Spot prize.

“It made my day, my week!

“I really wasn’t expecting to win $150,000. It’s something you always want to happen, but now it has, it feels quite surreal.

“It was a good way to end the week, that’s for sure. It certainly made for a good weekend too.

“I haven’t celebrated just yet, but I plan to as soon as I get the money!”

When asked how he planned to enjoy his Keno fun money, the stoked bloke said he had one thing in mind.

“I think I might get myself a new car,” he shared.

“The rest I will save for a rainy day.”

The winning entry was purchased at Walloon Hotel, 1 Queen Street, Walloon.
