A Toukley man says he’ll be spending the weekend planning his next overseas adventure after scoring a Keno 8 Spot prize of more than $60,000 last night.
The New South Wales patron held a Keno 8 Spot winning entry in game 632 on Thursday 9 January 2020, taking home $62,856.00.
Confirming his exciting windfall with a Keno official this morning, the man explained what prompted him to check his ticket.
“Thank you!” he laughed.
“It was so good, very nice indeed.
“I’d left the venue after dinner and then heard someone had won a Keno prize there so I went straight back to check my ticket.
“I couldn’t believe it!
“It was excellent. I literally couldn’t be happier!
“I always just pick random numbers and last night they appeared. It was great.”
When asked how he planned to enjoy his Keno fun money, the Central Coast player already had a clear idea.
“Well I’m at work this morning and all I can think about is going on an overseas holiday,” he said.
“So I think I better start planning one! I’ll spend the weekend doing just that!”
The winning Keno 8 Spot entry was purchased at Toukley Golf Club, Key Street, Toukley.
Toukley Golf Club employee Jenny Davidson said it was the biggest Keno win they’d had at the club.
“There’s been plenty of excitement in the venue and throughout the local community about this win,” she said.
“It’s great to see this major prize land in Toukley.
“Congratulations to our local winner. We know he will really enjoy his prize!”
