Thursday’s aren’t particularly enthralling days of the week, but for one Guyra Keno player, their Thursday got a lot more exciting after they discovered they won $45,000 last week.

The New South Wales patron held a Keno Classic 8 Spot winning entry in game 564 played on Friday 24 July 2020 worth $45,005.80.

However, how the punter plans to use their Keno fortune will forever be a mystery as they have chosen to remain completely anonymous and celebrate in private.

The winning Keno Classic 8 Spot winning entry was purchased at Guyra Bowling & Recreation Club, 192 Bradley Street, Guyra.

Guyra Bowling & Recreation Club secretary manager Betty Bourke said she was glad the winner had come forward and claimed their prize.

“We’re thrilled one of our patrons has had such a fantastic win at our venue,” she said.

“The whole club has been bursting with excitement over the win. We’ve been waiting patiently for the winner to come forward, and we’re thrilled they now have.

“We wish our winner all the very best with their prize. Hopefully it can make some of their dreams come true.”

Keno spokesperson Ally Ramsamy said she was sure the latest Keno winner had plenty of exciting plans for their prize.

“While we may never know exactly how the mystery winner will enjoy their Keno fortune, I have no doubt it has put a huge smile on their face,” she said.

“In the past our Keno winners have used their prize to renovate their home, go on family golfing trips, or book an adrenaline pumping activity like skydiving.

“However our winner chooses to enjoy their windfall, we are sure they are celebrating winning this fantastic prize!”
