A Tasmanian woman is looking forward to hitting the shops and not having to worry about bargain hunting after scoring a Keno Mega Millions 8 Spot prize worth over $76,000.

The thrilled winner held a Keno Mega Millions 8 Spot winning entry in draw 938 drawn Monday 7 December 2020 and takes home a prize of $76,051.00.

Sharing her excitement with a Keno official this morning, the happy woman revealed she was still happily coming to terms with her win.

“It couldn’t have come at a better time. I’m still in shock. I can’t believe it’s happened!” she exclaimed.

“It’s been really tough recently for my family with just one thing after another. It’s been a rough few months.

“And for this to happen, right now. Just wow! It’s still sinking in.

“I’m not sure I’ll believe it until I see it in my bank account!

“I only play Keno every now and then. I’ll play for a few days in a row and then leave it for a few weeks before playing again.

“It’s relaxing, and it’s so quick between each game, so it’s a good way to take your mind off things.”

When asked how she planned to enjoy her Keno fun money, the loving mum said she would use it to spend more time with her family.

“I’ve got two kids that live interstate, and whenever I go to visit them, it’s always a flying visit,” she explained.

“I think I’ll head over after Christmas and stay a bit longer than usual. This win will give me the money to do a few more activities and days out while I am there too. It will feel like a real holiday as well.

“I definitely want to hit the DFO shops and do a bit of shopping. It will be nice not to have to worry about if I should spend that much or not. I’ll be able to relax a bit and not count every penny.”

The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her winning Keno Mega Millions entry on the Keno app.
