A Crescent Head man who decided to swap his usual ticket type and boldly try a fresh set of numbers is laughing all the way to the bank after bagging a $127,000 Keno win.
The Mid North Coast local scored the Keno Classic 9 Spot jackpot in draw 320, drawn Sunday 30 November 2025 and looks forward to a total prize of $127,815.10.
“I’m doing great!” the winning man exclaimed when an official from Keno called.
“It’s funny, because I normally only ever play a 4 Spot or a 6 Spot ticket, but over the weekend I thought I’d give the 9 Spot ticket a go.
“I also changed my usual numbers up slightly, and lo and behold, they were winners.
“There were lots of cheers and screaming going around the venue when the jackpot went off.
“There were murmurs going around, with everyone wondering who the winner was.
“It was incredible! You really never know when your numbers might come up.”
The stunned winner shared the prize would fuel his travel adventures.
“It’s certainly going to come in handy,” he said.
“It’s going to make it easier to travel.”
His winning Keno Classic entry was purchased at Crescent Head Country Club, 1 Rankine Street, Crescent Head.
