A Richmond man has confessed he is looking forward to enjoying every cent of his $91,000 Keno Classic 8 Spot win.
The stoked man won the 8 Spot prize worth $91,319.70 in draw 513 on Friday 29 March 2019.
The thrilled winner confessed he was oblivious to his good fortune until someone told him there had been a win at Elgin Inn Hotel where he purchased his ticket.
“I was heading out the door on my way home and some bloke said to me ‘we’ve had a win’,” he explained.
“So I checked my ticket and when I saw that I won it was a bit overwhelming!”
When asked how he to spend his Keno windfall, the cheeky winner confessed he planned to enjoy every cent.
“I’ve got kids, so each of them will get something. I’ll give some to my wife for her to enjoy, and the rest is all mine to have fun with!” he laughed.
“We are fortunate we are in a position where we don’t need it so we will be able to just enjoy it!”
The happy man, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his entry from Elgin Inn Hotel, 75 Burwood Road, Hawthorne.
Elgin Inn Hotel owner Jeff O’Meara said he was thrilled his venue had sold their first major Keno prize.
“This is the biggest Keno prize we’ve ever sold as far as I know,” he said.
“We are thrilled one of our regular customers and a local to the area walked away with a great prize.
“We wish him all the best with his win and are pleased to hear he plans on enjoying it!”
In 2018, Keno crowned millionaires and multi-millionaires who collectively took home more than million.
