A Richlands woman has had more than one reason to celebrate after marking her wedding anniversary with a surprise $67,000 Keno win.

The Brisbane resident scored the Keno Classic 8 Spot jackpot in draw 222, drawn Friday 26 September 2025 and takes home a total prize of $67,193.80.

“I’m in shock!” she laughed when an official from Keno called straight after her windfall.

“We’re out celebrating our wedding anniversary. We’ve been together for 15 years!

“My husband turned to me and said, ‘You always bloody win!’. He never wins anything, ha-ha!

“I did have a nice Keno win earlier this year but nothing that comes close to this.

“This has definitely enhanced our wedding celebrations today. We will have to keep going!”

When asked how she planned to enjoy her newfound fortune, the Queenslander shared she would invest it wisely.

“To be honest, I’m going to put it in the bank and watch it grow,” she relayed.

“I’m not going to rush a thing!”

Her winning Keno Classic entry was purchased at The Lions Richlands, 'Lions Stadium', 133 Pine Road, Richlands.

In FY25, Keno players across the eastern states of mainland Australia celebrated more than 76 million wins collectively worth more than $1.2 billion.

During this time, Keno crowned 20 millionaires and multi-millionaires who collectively took home more than $57.9 million. Four of these major winners were Queenslanders, including a Townsville man who scored $4.4 million.

Queenslanders enjoyed more than 27.3 million Keno wins totalling more than $450.7 million at pubs and clubs across the state in FY25.
