A Rainbow Beach woman is celebrating the festive season in style after landing a $50,000 Keno win in a recent draw.

The Gympie resident held a Keno Classic winning entry with a x2 Bonus in draw 364, drawn Monday 15 December 2025 and took home a total prize of $50,000.

“It’s really good! A nice little surprise!” she exclaimed when speaking to an official from Keno.

“This is the first time I’ve ever won anything like this.

“I just went down to the local club with my partner, and we put a game of Keno on. We just used random numbers!

“We never expected to win.

“We’ve already got a holiday booked and we will be going overseas soon.

“This is a great boost to the holiday fund!”

Her winning Keno Classic entry was purchased at Rainbow Beach Sports, Recreation & Memorial Club, 7 Turana Street, Rainbow Beach.

Rainbow Beach Sports, Recreation & Memorial Club general manager Ashleigh Jensen shared the atmosphere in the club was electric when the major Keno winning entry was won.

“The Keno screens suddenly flashed green with the message ‘$50,000 just won here’, and we immediately thought, ‘no way!’,” she recalled.

“Our social media post about the win has had the most engagement than any other we’ve ever posted. Our members are so excited to hear about the news!

“This is the club's first significant Keno win during my four years in management.

“Congratulations to our major Keno winner and we wish you all the very best. Thank you for supporting our community venue.”

In FY25, Keno players across the eastern states of mainland Australia celebrated more than 76 million wins collectively worth more than $1.2 billion.

During this time, Keno crowned 20 millionaires and multi-millionaires who collectively took home more than $57.9 million. Four of these major winners were Queenslanders, including a Townsville man who scored $4.4 million.

Queenslanders enjoyed more than 27.3 million Keno wins totalling more than $450.7 million at pubs and clubs across the state in FY25.
