While most major winners struggle to have a good night’s sleep, a Pitt Town man has admitted he had the ‘best sleep’ in his life after landing a $2 million win in a recent Keno draw.

The Sydney resident scored the Keno Classic 10 Jackpot in draw 868, drawn Sunday 7 July 2024 and looks forward to a total prize of $2,052,122.20.

The New South Welshman revealed his family couldn’t fathom the enormity of the win and revealed it would be shared across the board.

“It’s so surreal,” he exclaimed.

“I truly can’t believe it. I’ve been playing these same special numbers for 15 years!

“My daughter sent me a text this morning and asked how I slept last night and surprisingly, it was the best sleep I’ve ever had!

“It’s the first time in my life where I don’t have to think about any financial pressures and that made me have the best sleep of my life.

“It’s funny because my family would always jokingly ask when I play a game of Keno, ‘Did you win $2?’.

“But now I can turn around and tell them I’ve won $2 and a whole lot of zeros!”

With more than $2 million about to change the course of his life, the gleeful dad revealed some exciting and upcoming plans.

“This will allow us to pay off our mortgage completely which is a huge relief,” he shared.

“We will help our family and friends and also go on an overseas holiday to Mexico.

“It will be great.”

His winning 10 Spot entry was purchased at Lynwood Country Club, 4 Pitt Town Bottoms Road, Pitt Town.

The Lynwood Country Club team said they were pleased to have sold a major Keno winning entry worth $2 million and wished their patron all the best with their prize.
