A Tully mother is joyfully dancing into her week after scoring more than $93,000 in Keno Classic, revealing she used her loved ones' birthday numbers to win.

The chirpy Queenslander held a winning Keno Classic 8 Spot entry with a x2 Bonus in draw 562 on Sunday 6 October 2024. Her total prize was $93,095.90.

“I’m pretty good!” the winning woman laughed when an official from Keno called to confirm her prize.

“It’s a bit different. I’m still in shock.

“The win happened while I was out at dinner with my partner. We’re thrilled.

“We play a few games occasionally but never expected this!

“It was special birthday numbers that we used. They’re extra special now.

“It was great we played the Bonus which doubled our prize.”

When asked how she planned to use her newfound treasure, the winning woman was too stunned to make any immediate decisions.

“Honestly, it still doesn’t feel real!” she said.

“It’s going to really help us out. We’ll pay some bills and think about what else we’d like to do.

“I think once we have it in our bank account, we’ll be more clear-headed. Then we can celebrate too!

“Thank you so much.”

Her winning Keno Classic 8 Spot entry was purchased at Tigers Leagues Club, 65 Bryant Street, Tully.

Tiger Leagues Club manager Jo Solien said the team was ecstatic to sell a major Keno winning entry.

“We’re shocked and excited! We’re very happy for the winning patron,” they said.

“It’s just great to see such a big win in a small country club, it makes you believe anything is possible!

“We’ve sold a 7 Spot win a few times over the last 15 years, and had a couple of nine out of 10 winners, but this is the biggest win we’ve had so far.

Congratulations to our member on this amazing win and we hope you enjoy spending the winnings.”
