A Liverpool man is spending the week planning how he’ll enjoy his almost $75,000 Keno win after celebrating all weekend.
The New South Wales patron held a Keno Classic 8 Spot winning entry in game 891 on Friday 11 June 2021, worth $74,957.50.
Confirming his win with an official from Keno this morning, the winner explained his exciting prize had caught him by surprise.
“I love Keno!” he laughed.
“I buy a different kind of ticket every time I play!
“On Friday night, I bought a ticket, went home and forgot about it.
“When I went to the pub on Saturday, I checked it.
“I was so happy. It was a great surprise.
“I am going to have to have a think about how I will enjoy my prize.
“It will certainly come in handy!”
The winning Keno Classic 8 Spot winning entry was purchased at Liverpool Hotel, Corner of Moore & Macquarie Streets, Liverpool.
In 2020, Keno players across the eastern states of mainland Australia celebrated more than 59.9 million wins collectively worth more than $840.6 million.
