A Lawson woman says she’s “still on a high” after witnessing her carefully chosen eight numbers win her more than $71,000 in Keno.
The Blue Mountains resident held a Keno 8 Spot winning entry in game 183 on Friday 7 June 2019, and takes home $71,248.60.
Confirming her win with a Keno official this afternoon, the woman recalled the winning moment she’ll never forget.
“I usually just play six numbers but this time I decided to add another two numbers to my entry,” she explained.
“I watched the draw play out and I saw my numbers pop up one by one and couldn’t believe that I was seeing my eight numbers on the screen in front of me.
“I went a little bit ballistic I think. I was screaming and carrying on!
“I never imagined something like this would happen to me!
“It was an awesome day! I’m still on a high!”
The winner revealed she’d already decided exactly for she’d enjoy her Keno windfall.
“I’ve got it all planned out. I’m going to buy a new car,” she said.
“I’m also going to buy some new furniture for the house and we might even sneak a little holiday in!”
The woman purchased her Keno 8 Spot winning entry at Lawson Bowling Club, 2 Loftus Street, Lawson.
