A merry Maroochydore woman is happily celebrating her Keno Classic win of more than $180,000 after discovering what she initially thought was a prank, turned out to be true.

The Sunshine Coast resident held a winning Keno Classic 8 Spot entry with a x4 Bonus in draw 230 on Saturday 20 April 2024. Her total prize was $181,567.10.

“I’m great!” the winning woman laughed when an official from Keno called to confirm her prize.

“I still can’t believe it.

“I had no idea I had won at the time until my husband called me. Of course, I didn’t believe him at first, I thought he was pranking me.

“We always use the same numbers. All of them have different meanings behind them.

“We also always play Bonus so that really worked in our favour!”

When asked how she planned to use her newfound fortune, the regular player admitted she had been too busy to think about it.

“It’s funny because I have such a busy week at work, I haven’t really had any time to process the win.

“I haven’t even thought what we will use it for yet!

“Once, we have a bit of downtime, I’ll be able to properly celebrate and think more about how we’ll best use the money.

“Thank you so much!”

Her winning Keno Classic 8 Spot entry with Bonus was purchased at Maroochy River Golf Club, 374 David Low Way, Bli Bli.
