A Rutherford woman is on an incredible winning streak after snatching her fourth major Keno prize in three years over the weekend – this time a $66,000 win.

The Hunter Region resident held a Keno Classic 8 Spot winning entry in game 758 on Sunday 10 April 2022 and took home $66,355.00.

“I can’t believe it! I’m still in shock,” the winning woman laughed when speaking with an official from Keno.

“This is my fourth major win in Keno! I’ve been playing Keno for 30 years, but my luck has mostly occurred in the last three years.

“Earlier this year, I also won $60,000 at the same venue! I’ve won $30,000 twice in the past.

“When it happened, I was in complete disbelief because who wins this many times?

“I’m just so grateful to have won big this many times! I have goosebumps.

“We will have to celebrate with a bottle of champagne and hope the winning streak continues.

“This is going to make such a difference to our lives. I’m not sure what we will spend it on, but I’m sure it will go to good use.”

The winning entry was purchased at Club Maitland City, 14 Arthur Street, Rutherford.

Club Maitland City Operations Manager Matthew Johnston said the team were ecstatic to have another major Keno prize at their venue.

“We’re really happy for the winner, and even better, it’s their second win for the year! We love when local patrons and customers take home a major Keno prize,” he said.

“All of our other patrons are hoping they’re next to win the big one.

“Congratulations to the winner and we wish them all the best with their prize.”

In 2021, Keno players across the eastern states of mainland Australia celebrated more than 36.2 million wins collectively worth more than $590.3 million.
