After scoring an appetizing $80,000 Keno win, a Long Jetty man is happily planning to treat his wife to a bountiful seafood buffet to celebrate their good fortune.
The Central Coast resident held a Keno Mega Millions 8 Spot winning entry in draw 517, drawn Monday 7 November 2022. His total prize is $80,057.00.
Speaking with an official from Keno this morning, the happy husband explained how his windfall came to be.
“I’ve been playing Keno for more than four years now, so it’s great to have finally won a substantial amount!” he explained.
“Funnily enough, I was actually quite calm when the win happened. But don’t get me wrong, I’m really happy!
“It will really help us pay off some bills and live a bit more comfortably.
“The first thing we I’ll do is celebrate this occasion with my wife!
“I’ll treat her to a seafood buffet – she deserves it!
“We might even fly to Sydney and stay in a nice hotel.
“Thank you so much, Keno!”
His winning entry was purchased at Diggers at The Entrance, 315 The Entrance Road, Long Jetty.
Diggers at The Entrance Executive Gaming Manager Troy Sinclair said it was great to see a local resident win, especially leading into the festive season.
"It’s a wonderful way to start the new week – not only for the winner, but also for our venue and community!” he said.
“It’s generated such a buzz around town, and everyone wants to know who it is. I’m sure that many patrons will want a piece of the action and try their luck on Keno, hoping to be the next big winner!
“Eighty thousand dollars is a life-changing amount of money for anyone. It could mean a new car, a house deposit, a holiday or whatever the fortunate winner desires!
“On behalf of the whole team at Diggers at The Entrance, we would like to wish the winner a big congratulations. We’re proud to be a partner with Keno in delivering great entertainment.”
