A Penrith man is planning to swap economy class for business class on a dream trip to England after scoring a boosted $100,000 Keno prize.
The Sydneysider scored a Keno Classic win with a x4 Bonus in draw 042, on Friday 16 January 2026. He can look forward to a neat $100,000.
Still riding the high of his unexpected good fortune, the winning man said the news felt nothing short of magical.
“I was very happy when it happened and I still am! It’s magical,” he said.
“I’ll play Keno now and then, but I just change my numbers up and occasionally will add the Bonus.
“It was actually great that I chose the Bonus this time because it made my win go from $25,000 to $100,000!
“I wasn’t watching the draw when I won, but it popped up on the screen that someone in the venue had won $100,000. I was pretty sure I was the only person playing in the venue, so I thought it had to be me.
“I can’t believe how lucky I feel.”
When asked how he’d enjoy his newfound treasure, the gleeful man knew exactly what to do.
“I’d like to travel to England,” he said.
“Rather than economy, I can go business class now!”
His winning Keno Classic entry was purchased from Nepean Rowing Club, 32 Bruce Neale Drive, Penrith.
