A Kealba man has recounted the moment he played a game of Keno while eating dinner at his local venue and watched his numbers come up on the screen one by one – delivering a delicious $69,000 win.

The Victorian held a major Keno winning entry in draw 526, drawn Tuesday 3 May 2022. His total prize was $69,724.00.

Speaking with an official from Keno today, the Melburnian said he was still on cloud nine thanks to his major prize.

“I’d gone to the venue for an early dinner, and while I was there, I played some Keno,” he revealed.

“I was watching the draw when I had my win.

“I saw each number come out! It was awesome. It felt very surreal.

“I felt very, very lucky. I still feel fortunate! It’s made me a happy man.

“There was a bit of celebrating after I discovered my win, but I still went home at a reasonable hour.

“I can’t believe I’ve won almost $70,000! It’s terrific.

“Thank you very much! This win is fantastic. I still can’t believe it!

“I’m going to keep this prize in the bank for a rainy day. I want to use it wisely, so I will give myself time to think about how I should use it.”

The happy winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his entry at Kealba Hotel, Cnr Sunshine Avenue & Main Road East, Kealba.

The Kealba Hotel team are thrilled for their winner and wish him all the best with his prize.
