A Kangaroo Valley couple are ready to set sail and cruise on the high seas of Australia thanks to their $58,000 win in a recent Keno draw.

The New South Wales retirees scored the Keno Classic 8 Spot winning entry in draw 248, drawn Tuesday 9 January 2024 and look forward to a total prize of $58,370.50.

The winning husband couldn’t believe he had started the new year with his biggest Keno win yet after sharing he had taken home smaller prizes in the past.

“It’s the biggest win I’ve ever had!” he joyfully exclaimed.

“I couldn’t believe it. I’ve won $12,000 before but nothing beats this win.

“I was sitting with my two sons at the Friendly Inn in Kangaroo Valley, and we decided to put on a game of Keno. We thought we would treat ourselves to 100 games.

“We were chatting away and then we looked up at the screen and saw our eight winning numbers pop up.

“It was on our fourth game that we had won the jackpot prize and we still had 96 games to go, which was quite funny.

“I don’t know exactly what I’ll do with the prize, but we’ve wanted to go on a cruise for some time now – not sure where or when – but we will fit it in.

“Thank you so much.”
