While he may have appeared cool, calm and collected at the time, a Kallangur man has confessed his $163,000 Keno win this week will transform his life and make some long-held dreams a reality.

The Moreton Bay resident held a Keno Classic 9 Spot winning entry in draw 534, drawn Tuesday 1 November 2022 and takes home a total prize of $163,467.00.

Speaking to an official from Keno, the Queenslander recollected the moment he discovered his thrilling windfall.

“You see, it’s a little bit of a blur!” he laughed.

“Everyone in the club was cheering for me and patting me on the back.

“Surprisingly, I had no reaction! I’m just one of those guys that keeps cool when things like this happen.

“The team member at the club even said to me, ‘Wow mate, you’re the most chill guy I’ve ever seen’.

“We’re really happy to have won. It’s quite a large sum, so we will make some good use out of it.”

When asked how he planned to enjoy his fun money, the winner shared it would kickstart his travel plans.

“We were grateful to enjoy overseas holidays before the pandemic hit, but we had to put it all on hold,” he said.

“We can now look forward to arranging and booking some holidays in!”

His winning entry was purchased at North Leagues and Services Club, 1347 Anzac Avenue, Kallangur.

In FY22, Keno players across the eastern states of mainland Australia celebrated more than 62.2 million wins collectively worth more than $896.7 million.
