An Albion man is eager to put his $54,000 Keno win to good use, with plans to kick things off by upgrading the appliances in his home, starting with a brand-new sparkling dishwasher.
The Brisbane resident held a winning Keno Classic 6 Spot Jackpot prize with a x3 bonus in draw 199, drawn Saturday 5 October 2024 and looks forward to a total prize of $54,000.00.
The Queenslander was among his workmates when he discovered his Keno ticket had hit the jackpot, sending excitement through the venue.
“I jumped straight out of my seat!” he laughed.
“My workmates and I went to the local Breakfast Creek Hotel for some dinner and while we were there, I thought I’d put on a Keno ticket.
“I’ve only ever won $30 or $40 here and there, so I wasn’t expecting much.
“I couldn’t believe it. I asked my friends to pinch me to check that I wasn’t dreaming.
“I’ll put most of it towards my mortgage, but I do need some new kitchen appliances. I really need a new dishwasher for my place.
“Thanks again!”
His winning Keno Classic entry was purchased at Breakfast Creek Hotel, 2 Kingsford Smith Drive, Albion.
The Breakfast Creek Hotel team were pleased to hear one of their patrons had taken home a Keno jackpot and wished them all the very best with their prize.
