A Terrigal woman has had the shock of her life after discovering she’d been unknowingly walking around for days with a winning Keno ticket worth more than $100,000.

The Central Coast resident scored the Keno Classic 8 Spot jackpot in Keno draw 807, drawn Saturday 19 July 2025 and took home $103,423.40.

The ecstatic winner said she was still in disbelief after waking up the morning after the discovery and realising her $100,000 discovery wasn’t just a dream.

“Oh my god! I’m as numb as a brick!” she said.

“I can’t stop laughing! It’s bloody brilliant.

“I celebrated last night, and when I woke up this morning, I was worried it was all just a dream, and now I was stuck in a nightmare! Thankfully not.

“I was out for lunch when I put on the ticket but walked out without checking it. I had no idea I’d won until yesterday.

“I sent a photo of the piece of paper to my sister. When I saw her, she thought I'd only won $5,000 so when I said, ‘Did you read the number above it?’, she screamed ‘Holy guacamole!’.

“I’m going to give her and my other sibling some money to help them, and I’m thinking I’ll do some bathroom renovations.

“Thank you so much. I’m still trying not to die from the shock!”

Her winning Keno Classic entry was purchased from Erina RFL Club, 18 Ilya Avenue, Erina.

In 2024, Keno players across the eastern states of mainland Australia celebrated more than 76 million wins collectively worth more than $1.19 billion.
