A Toukley man has decided 2026 is the year he’ll travel around Australia after scoring a $90,000 Keno prize minutes before midnight on New Year’s Eve.
The Central Coast man held a winning Keno Mega Millions ticket in draw 841 on Wednesday 31 December 2025. His total prize was $90,587.90.
Speaking to an official from Keno, the happy winner confessed he couldn’t think of a better way to start 2026.
“It’s good timing for the new year!” he exclaimed.
“It’s just fantastic.
“I was just there for New Year’s Eve and I put my ticket on. I came out of the toilet and saw my numbers on the screen but didn’t think I was in that draw. But then I realised I was!
“I always play my same set of numbers. I’ve won a little bit in the past, but nothing like this.
“We’re going to do a bit of travelling with this. It’s a spur of the moment thing – probably just a trip around Australia.
“I’m looking forward to it!”
The man’s winning entry was purchased at The Ary, Holmes Avenue, Toukley.
The Ary CEO Trevor Haynes said the win had brought a great buzz to the club.
