With a sparkle in his eyes and visions of great Aussie adventures, a Beenleigh man is eagerly awaiting the day he can cruise around in his brand-new Range Rover after landing a $70,000 Keno prize.
The Logan resident held the Keno Classic 8 Spot winning entry in draw 976, drawn Tuesday 5 May 2024 and looks forward to a total prize of $70,781.40.
The Queenslander admitted he felt as if the win had been brewing for quite some time having previously won a 6 Spot and 7 Spot prize.
“It’s so exciting but it was such a blur at the time of the win that I still don’t know how much I’ve won,” he said.
“I’ve got my eye on a new car, and it’s come at the most perfect time.
“I’ve needed a bigger car for floats and a trailer; my car is too little.
“I’ll put on a game of Keno every time I go to the local pub. It’s just something I like to do.
“You wouldn’t believe it, I’ve had six and seven numbers before, and now I’ve gotten all the eight numbers. It will be a matter of time until I get the 9 Spot!
“I’ve already chosen a brand-new Ranger Rover, so will be doing that!”
His winning entry was purchased at Windaroo Tavern, 159-163 Beaudesert Beenleigh Road, Mt Warren Park.
