A Davistown woman has happily celebrated taking home $95,000 in a recent Keno draw by running into her workplace joyfully screaming at the top of her lungs.
The Central Coast resident scored the Keno Mega Millions 8 Spot jackpot, drawn Tuesday 4 June 2024 and can look forward to a total prize of $95,333.90.
“I’m very chuffed,” she cheered.
“I can’t believe it’s happened.
“I nearly left the winning tickets at the club too! The team member at the club said to me, ‘Don’t forget your tickets!’.
“When I found out I drove straight to my workplace after popping into Kmart and I started screaming and jumping up and down telling all my coworkers that I won in Keno!
“I didn’t even know how much I had won but I knew it was a major prize.
“But now that I know it’s $95,000, I can’t stop saying ‘Oh my god!’.
“Go Keno, go!”
When asked how she planned to enjoy her fun money, the winning woman couldn’t wait to drop some workdays and go on a family holiday.
“Family holiday, for sure!” she immediately shared.
“It’s such perfect timing. I’ve been wanting to work a bit less and this will allow me to do so for a couple of months.”
The Keno Mega Millions winning entry was purchased at Davistown RSL Club, 19 Murna Road, Davistown.
