A Frankston woman in her 30s is flush with disbelief and excitement after she scored a $1.3 million Keno prize while on the toilet.

The Victorian held a Keno Classic 10 Spot winning entry in draw 740, drawn Thursday 13 April 2023, and scored $1,358,122.00.

It’s the fourth Keno Classic 10 Spot jackpot to be won along the eastern seaboard during the past four weeks.

“Oh my god! I’m feeling fabulous!” the woman exclaimed when an official from Keno spoke to her last night minutes after her win.

“I can’t believe it! I was at home on the toilet and thought I’d play some Keno.

“I was sitting there and just picked the numbers randomly. They weren’t even my favourites. I was just like, ‘three in this row, this one here, that there’.

“Then I saw the draw results and… oh my god!

“I leapt up and ran out of the toilet.

“I was shaking and just yelling, ‘oh my god, oh my god!’.

“I haven’t even been playing Keno for a week. I only started about four days ago.

“I’m with my family now celebrating. We just can’t believe it.

“I want to buy a house, and this will be more than enough. I won’t have to stress about mortgage payments, that’s for sure.”

The Victorian’s winning Keno entry was purchased on the Keno – Let’s Play app.

Along with being played in over 3,500 pubs and clubs in Victoria, Queensland, New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory, Keno can now be played anywhere with the Keno app in the ACT and Victoria.

In 2022, Keno players across the eastern states of mainland Australia celebrated more than 76.25 million wins collectively worth more than $1 billion.
