A Toowoomba man is planning a heartwarming surprise reunion with his daughter this festive season thanks to his Keno Classic win worth $90,000.
The Darling Downs resident scored the Keno Classic 6 Spot jackpot with a x10 Bonus in draw 21, drawn Friday 29 November 2024, worth $90,000.
When an official from Keno contacted the winning man, he confessed he’d had an extra special year in 2024, enjoying three major Keno wins.
“It’s pretty unbelievable!” he cheered.
“It’s been a weekend full of celebrations since the win.
“Believe it or not, this is my third win for the year. I won $3,000 and $27,000 in games earlier in the year.
“It’s been a special year, and I’m looking forward to celebrating with family!
“It’s come at the perfect time before Christmas. I’m planning to surprise my daughter, who lives interstate, and uniting the family this year.
“She’s going to be completely surprised when I rock up.
“There will also be a few extra pressies going around this year.”
The man’s winning Keno Classic entry was purchased from Wilsonton Hotel, 40 Richmond Drive, Wilsonton.
Wilsonton Hotel manager Dannielle Marks said they were celebrating having one of their patrons score a major Keno prize.
“Seeing one of our patrons win big with Keno is always fantastic and generates such a positive atmosphere in our venue that everyone feels like they’ve shared in the win too,” she said.
“As you can imagine, Keno wins like this become a talking point here for a long time to come.

In FY24, Keno players across the eastern states of mainland Australia celebrated more than 78.5 million wins collectively worth more than $1.16 billion.
During this time, Keno crowned 18 millionaires and multi-millionaires who collectively took home more than $46.7 million. Nine of these major winners were Queenslanders, including a Kallangur man who won $8.45 million after scoring the Keno Classic and Keno Mega Millions 10 Spot jackpots in the one draw.
